Chapter Progress:
On an indefinite hiatus. I’m a bit lost as to where I want the story to go, but as soon as I’ve had an idea or two, this will continue (that, and Pets screwed up the house). Thank you all for being patient with me. I’m still updating Splintered Sun, but the Dreams are having a bit of a rest. :)

This is the blog for the Dream Legacy, where I attempt to play through ten generations, with my founder, Isaac Dream.
I’ve been having an issue where there’s no townies of suitable ages in my town, so my friend Catcrunchies has been making me potential spouses (with no input from me). As the game progresses, I might open it up to potential spouses from other readers. I don’t know. :)
I’ve also just got a default eye replacement, which will show from the start of generation 2.
I’ve only recently felt confident enough to play the Sims 3 with moods dynamic and, after playing around for a bit with another family, I decided the time had come to write my very own legacy. ^^ So that’s what I’m doing, for the drama, for the laughs, for the tears and for the memories.
Anyway, hopefully you’ll enjoy this legacy.

I have the pics for chapter 7 sitting on my “inspiration pile” atm but I’m not feeling too well so I’ll write it after I’ve had a bit of a lay down.
Your going to LOVE! chapter 8.. I don’t even have the pictures shot that far ahead yet but they are already playing out in my head. *spooky*
I read all your legacy updates earlier..you write sooooo much better than me. I have more than one language which oddly leaves me stuck for words in English sometimes.

And I’m a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to writing, and I’m studying Creative Writing at university, so I hope my writing is good. I only know one language though. XD And I really like your writing style, so don’t be discouraged. ^^ I’d get confused having more than one language too. XD

Aw, thanks! :) Yeah, I have a feeling all the generations are going to be quite long, so I pity people who start reading on generation seven or something. ^_^

Hey Emy. I asked Maui this same question, but I think if I get it from two people it would be better.
You have Woohooer mod, I know that. Is your camera going REALLY slow on your game? I didn’t update the patch manually nor did I download generations yet, this is happening to me. I was wondering if you have the same problem? That maybe I need a new version of Woohooer? (it isn’t out yet though) or maybe I do need to update my game? What do you think? :(
I really wanna play my game to make a new chapter ;_; but the camera is like painfully slow. It takes a whole REAL minute just to spin it in a 360.

I’ve got the woohooer mod and my camera’s running fine. I haven’t got the latest patch yet or Generations (UK release isn’t until Friday and I won’t get home until the 12th ;____; ), so it can’t be that. Maybe clear your cache files from your sims3 folder and reload?? That’s what I usually do if my game’s being slow. Also, maybe close all the programmes you don’t need.

In the sims3 folder there’s four package files with cache at the end of their names: CASPartCache, compositorCache, scriptCache, and simCompositorCache. Just delete them and see if that helps. The game will generate new ones when you start it up, but it might help.
My camera’s fine, as I said. I’m not sure what it could be. Maybe Generations will fix it if the cache clearing doesn’t help? D:

This is gonna sound kind of strange, but I think you might be the best one to ask considering you helped Callie out with Carmine’s law case.
It’s going to be a long complicated chapter and I was wondering if you knew anyway of how to present evidence, in the next chapter ‘someone’ is in jail/lock-up well they’re a suspect for a murder (that’s all I’m saying) but I can’t think of anything for the evidence, I’m not to good with law and all that besides watching Castle on Alibi and I wanted to ask if you know of good ways to have evidence presented in a lab kind of way and then to the suspect who’s in questioning.
Even the smallest idea would really help :) Thanks for like reading (listening?) to me ramble.

Well, I guess there would be fingerprints. Maybe the suspect’s blood/skin if the victim scratched him/her. Hair maybe. Also shoe prints or eyewitness accounts. I’m assuming they wouldn’t present all the evidence to the suspect who’s in questioning, but just enough for them to know they’re in big trouble. They’d save most of the evidence for the trial. ;) Even the victim/victim’s family aren’t allowed to know everything that’s going on.
